[ SkLO ] Introducing The Dome Pendant
Large domes of handblown Czech glass with a frosted finish are suspended on lengths of oversized brass chains. An exposed fabric-wrapped electrical cord runs through the chain from canopy to light.
In the Dome Pendants, the glass domes come in two different sizes (Dome 17 and Dome 22), both substantial. The glass of the Dome collection comes in three colors, all frosted.
SkLO Partner and Lead Designer, Karen Gilbert, is a trained metalsmith. Unable to find the right chain for the Dome Pendant within the machine-made off-the-shelf chains available, she began a process of fabricating the chain herself.
